Password Release
It is NECCO Security Co. Inc.’s policy, in accordance with NFPA 72 2022 23.2.2.2, that Fire Alarm System & Electronic system “master” level programming passwords are not released to the end-user or personnel working with the end-user during a period of one year from date of initial startup and acceptance, and during any period that the system is under any type of contract with NECCO Security Co. Inc. to ensure that “All software and firmware shall be protected from unauthorized changes.”
After a period of one year from date of initial startup and acceptance, the end-user may submit in writing, via downloadable form (below,) a request to have programming passwords changed back to factory default at the expense of the end-user.
